how many leather jackets do you own, I have two, one is m&s brought in sale last year, one from Ted Baker brought four years ago again in the sale, just ordered mint velvet cropped one in their sale. I forgot I have a long leather coat, I brought it years ago in the next sale must be over 15 years old.

I bought a lovely leather biker jacket in the sale on all saints a month or two ago and I love it, that was bought to replace a leather biker from oasis that I'd had for 11 years.

So only the one as getting rid of the old one, but I plan on putting money aside for another from all saints when they have a sale in a year or so, so I have a couple of different styles

I’ve just bought a gorgeous dark green biker jacket. I’m in love....

1. A fitted black one I bought in a charity shop, a more bomber-like black one I rescued from being thrown away by DS1, and a vintage gold one I bought at a festival, but will probably end up giving away again because it seems to leave a trail of gold glittery stuff on everything it touches. I would love a red one, but I'm reluctant to pay much for one because my weight fluctuates a lot and I don't really know what size to get.

Three. One biker from Oasis years ago but tbh never wear it. A grey waterfall from ebay, think its Warehouse, not really my style. A brown Oasis bomber which I wore to death then bought again on Ebay. I don't love any of them now, but I do love a leather jacket so might be time for a new style and ebay hunt. They go for silly low prices on ebay.

Lots of these were picked up second hand.
I'm going to get rid of most of them and just keep the Barneys tan one, both All Saints and the Awear one.

A beige leather blazer from Gucci (bought with a 90% discount in Italy over 20 years ago but looks very current)

A black leather biker jacket from Muubaa that I bought from The Outnet a couple of years ago

Another black leather biker jacket (slightly different cut etc from the Muubaa one) from Michael Kors that I've had for over a decade

A pale pink/blush leather jacket from Hush bought in the sale a few years ago

A brown leather bomber jacket from Armand Basi that I've had over a decade and it still looks fabulous

Sadly only 1 and it’s pleather can’t even remember the brand but think it was off ASOS. The ‘silk’ lining has ripped inside and I’ve been dying for an All Saints one.

Too late for Xmas now but it might be going on my birthday wish list

Dark brown flying jacket from ebay. I got hugely into buying sheepskin form ebay last year...they're so cheap!

1 black biker. I don't know which brand. I bought it second hand on ebay. It fits like a dream.

One. Tan brown. My first ever because it was discounted. Only ever had fake ones before.
I feel the cold though so for me they are summer jackets only.

I’ve only got two now. A moss green one and a burnt orange one.

Used to have a lot more, maybe eight in total? Spanning two sizes, mind.

Two, sort of. Have a pleather jacket from Top Shop that’s old now but still looks good. Bought myself a more fitted version, Dalby, from All Saints, bought it on Black Friday from John Lewis as I had a voucher to use. Probably won’t wear it until Spring now, but will last me for years.

Just one now. It's taken a long time to find the perfect one - Allsaints Cargo.
I sold the others on ebay as they just don't compare.

Sorry to quote my own post - the 70s one is from Awear, not Asos. Irish chain that died a death a few years ago and I still miss it.

I sold all mine 10 years ago to buy my dream leather jacket, the Balenciaga Perfecto. Still love it, thank god.

I own one pleather jacket which people assume is leather. The material is now peeling at the neck

I had one as a teen, I really want one but never feel I can pull it off, I'm 45, is that too old? This year has taught me to live life to the max when you can. I think 2021 I am going to get to the weight I feel comfortable at and start wearing what makes me happy. Going to look at the brands up thread

This thread has caused me to reflect on this, and go check. Turns out I have 6.... flipping heck. Black, grey, dark brown, berry, cream, and a sky blue. All variations on a fitted, biker theme. Various price points too, from cheaper (the black), through to eye wateringly expensive (the grey - by Rick Owens). Pity we not getting out much just now as I love them all!

Apocalypse - I hope 45 isn't too old, I'm 50 and don't feel too old in mine!
