Sports bra help - non back fastening

RandomMess · 19/12/2020 13:44

I have an ancient sports bra that is crop top style and then has hooks at either side.

I desperately need a new one but can only find zip front or back clasp which are no good because the fastening hurts when I do floor work due to back issue.

I really struggle with the zip ones, anyone seen anything else???

TIA

Nike do decent sports bras without fastenings. No good for running but perfect for gym, yoga and the like.

Sorry this is the one to check out...

I use the Enell one from boobydoo

pinkbalconyrailing · 22/12/2020 08:42

maybe look at yoga bras.
I have one from h&m which is supportive enough for me for running.

QuantumJump · 22/12/2020 08:44

I like the Enell front fastening sports bra - it's very supportive for big boobs.

RandomMess · 22/12/2020 10:03

More suggestions, thank you!

Have ordered some and if they are no good will order an enell my boobs are fairly small but I have severe mastalgia so blooming walking to fast hurts some times!!

I was going to say Enell too - ugly as sin, but so supportive when you get the correct size. Order them from somewhere with a good returns policy initially as they can be a struggle to fit.

stodgystollen · 22/12/2020 10:50

Decathlon do lots of pull on ones, but they come up small.

pointyshoes · 22/12/2020 11:21

Not sure if they have anything, but Boobydoo have an amazing range of sports bras. The staff are really helpful so it might be worth speaking to them

My triumph order cancelled due to the border closure issue 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have a uniqlo sports bra like this.

RandomMess · 23/12/2020 10:03

Uniqlo won't let you return it so no good.

MoltonSilver · 23/12/2020 10:09

This is my favourite. It comes in various colors.

RandomMess · 23/12/2020 10:46

Alas @MoltonSilver no good as it fastens at the back so can't lie on the floor in it, too painful.

Well I now have a zip up one with 2 hooks underneath.

Not sure I can get it on or off at any great speed without DH help 😂 I can't see the hooks or zip properly even in the mirror in my varifocals 🤦🏼‍♀️

All the pullover ones were either too small (DH had to rescue me out of one) or too big and not supportive enough.

Will def order the hook and eye one to try as well.

I like New Balance - always get them from TK Maxx and I find them supportive enough for running

VetOnCall · 24/12/2020 01:15

Gymshark have tons of sports bras, they're relatively cheap but good quality and they have low, medium and high support options.
