How to stop over-the-knee boots falling down?

I bought some OTK boots from ASOS about a month ago. They’re stretchy fake-suede. There aren’t any laces at the back - they stay up just by stretch, I guess.

I love them, but they’ve started falling down my legs. The other day I was walking along, suddenly realised my right leg was freezing, and the boot had crept right down to my ankle.

Is there anything I can do?

Tights/stockings or fabric-type plasters. The friction between the material and the boots keep them in place

Thank you. Tights don’t work, sadly. I think the boots might be just too big at the top? Could I add some elastic or something?

I used to use double sided sticky tape to keep mine up, my grandma recommended it to me 😂

I use leg-warmers to fatten up my calves

Elasticated sleeve garters
