Eyebrow tint recommendations please

Facing yet another lockdown and beauticians all closing so I'm getting ready to do a bit of DIY beauty. Can anyone recommend an eyebrow tint that's pretty much foolproof please?

Eyelure at home dye kits - just grab some Vaseline (I get the pink one so I can check I haven't missed anywhere), cotton pads and some cotton ear buds (to apply Vaseline and tidy up any mistakes) and you're good to go!

Second the eyelure one, I love it. Will never pay to get them tinted at the salon now.

@allundercontrol I don't understand what the Vaseline is for?

(Huge Eyelure kit fan too btw!)

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 19/12/2020 10:47

@allundercontrol oh thank you, I'll give the eyelure one a go!

@twosecs the Vaseline acts as a barrier so no tint ends up on the skin/can just wipe it off if it does

allundercontrol · 19/12/2020 11:26

@twosecs as @FlippinNoah said, just as a barrier for your skin in case I make any mistakes or smudges. It stops the dye from dyeing your skin instead of your brows and makes it idiot (me) proof Smile

I've dyed my lashes and eyebrows for over 25 years with Eylure (or Colorsport) and have never had it dye my skin, so I'd say don't bother faffing with Vaseline. A tip I can offer is that, for me, my brows get a little darker a few hours after I've removed the dye, so bear that in mind.

I use Just for Men beard dye!
So much cheaper than the eyebrow brands and just as good.
Doesn't stain the skin so I don't bother with Vaseline.

Ah I get you. I've never had an issue with it staining my skin either, I apply it with an ILs v small makeup brush, the sort I used to put eyebrow makeup on with

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 19/12/2020 13:42

Ha! Just for men, great tip! Grin
