Clinique 3 step experts-question about additional products

I've been using the 3 step for about 6/7 years now and my skin is the best it's ever been. I'm 44 with the odd spot, fine lines around my eyes when I smile but otherwise I can't complain too much apart from worrying my eyes are going a little crepy. I've got some smart laser focus eye cream and also some all about eyes (it's in the John Lewis Christmas set and is the only reason I have it). My question is when is the best time to use them with the 3 step? After moisturising or before? Should you wait in between for a while?
Also, overnight and brightening masks-do you use your normal 3 step first?

I think because they're both eye creams it doesn't really matter if you do them before or after moisturiser as I'm assuming you're not putting the moisturiser around your eyes anyway? I probably wouldn't use both eye creams at once, I'd probably do all about eyes in the morning (to wake my eyes up) and then the smart laser one at night (no science behind it, but I like the thought of anti-aging happening in my sleep Grin). For the masks I'd do steps 1 and 2 first but then the mask would be my step 3.

Masks any time after cleansing, a couple of times a week.
I always use eye creams as final step but read that (iirc) Caroline Hirons says putting eye cream on after moisturizer is like putting your pants over your trousers. Not sure I get that as I don't take moisturizer to my eyes anyway!

I do put my moisturiser over my eyes and always have. Eye cream has been a recent thing as I'm worried about the crepeyness. I like the idea of anti aging working at night too Grin
