What product for oily fringe?

I really don’t like batiste dry shampoo. It leaves a horrible feeling in my hair.

Can anyone recommend anything to keep my fringe from getting oily. I have oily hair and have to wash it every other day but my fringe gets oilier more quickly and could really be doing with daily washing. I’m nit really keen on doing that so would like something to keep it looking good between washes.

I used to tie the rest of my hair back and just shampoo the fringe every day

Speaking as someone with a fringe also, i don't think you can have a fringe and not wash your hair daily. The only thing that works for me is Batiste, but even then I need to re-apply throughout the day....

Sad urgh. I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case.

Fellow fringe owner here Smile I find a decent detox shampoo helps my hair stay less oily; Herbal Essences detox shampoo is good.
I also try to I flick my fringe off my forehead and pin it back at night because oil seems to transfer from my skin onto the fringe.
Unfortunately I wash mine most days. If I do use dry shampoo, then I lift fringe and spray sparingly on roots, leave for 5 mins and brush out well so you don't have residue.

Thanks I’ll try the herbal essences. I haven’t used that since I was a teen! Does it still smell amazing?

Like pp I tie hair back in pony tail and just wash fringe if I need to and haven’t time for full wash.

Yes! Not too pricey either. Another favourite of mine is Vosene Original anti dandruff shampoo once a week. It leaves my hair squeaky clean. I'm also really careful to only put conditioner on the ends of hair, avoid the roots.

It's a pain having oily hair eh? One plus is it always looks really shiny when you I wash it.

I also recommend the Just washing your fringe trick, a life saver if you overslept! I literally just dip it in a mug of water, shampoo and rinse in mug over the sink, quick blow dry.

Yep to washing the fringe everyday. It literally takes me 2 minutes to wash, dry and straighten. If I don’t do it every day I really regret leaving it.
