Best clear brown gel

Hello am looking for a brow gel with more hold, don’t want colour as I can do that with powder/ pencil and I find them harder to apply to brows with colour. One of my eyebrows points pretty much the wrong way! Has anyone found a good one? So far I have tried MAC and Maybelline with colour and Rimmel and Florence without, even tried a gylcerine soap trick I saw on YouTube but it went flaky...

Boy Brow is coloured and has an almost dry texture. Not that much hold.

OP you might have more luck with a wax, but personally I use Professional clear mascara, it’s 2.99 and has good hold. Go cheap here, eyebrow mascaras aren’t the place to splash out.

You could also spray hairspray onto a clean spoolie and use that.

Collection clear mascara £1.99 in Boots or Superdrug. Doesn't flake at all and strong enough to hold mine in place.

If you still need something stronger, I'd perhaps look at moustache wax (for shaping rather than removal)

I was going to recommend Boy Brow too, @SmilingSimon. @GhostCurry they do have a clear one as well as the coloured ones. Although brow lamination too could be an option if you don’t want to faff around with it everyday!

Oh right. But is the texture any better? The coloured one has a dusty texture to me, more like dry shampoo than gel. And the brush is tiny.

anastasia clear brow gel has been my go to for years! Lasts a long time too.

NYX Control Freak is decent.

@GhostCurry I have the brown and clear, both are the same texture, and not dry at all! I don’t feel they’re dusty or have a texture like dry shampoo.... possible you got a dodgy one?

Kiko have a clear brow gel, tames my brows.

Boy Brow is great for hold.
I’ve got dark hair but use the one for blond hair.
I find it holds well but doesn’t overly colour hairs.

Thanks ladies, I had forgotten I have NYX also! Considering laminating them and have actually retried the MAC one and it is quite good, especially the colour it is which is called beguile and a nice mid to light brown. Collection clear mascara also worth a try as if it works that is cheap. Would almost be worth buying Boy brow for the cool name...
