Silver stud earrings- online recommendations?

I would like to get 12 yr old dd some real silver pretty studs, she has been wearing the same plain ball studs since she got her ears pierced earlier this year. I'd quite like some fun and quirky designs if possible. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I ordered these Accessorize ones from Next for my daughter.

Jennygentle · 12/12/2020 18:35

Silver by Mail has lovely stuff.

ElspethFlashman · 12/12/2020 18:48

Z by Accessorize definitely. You can get a multi pack and the Z line won't turn your ears green as they're silver plated.

Actually they're the only cheap jewellery I wear anymore. Absolutely love all of it.

Thanks all for your suggestions, not sure about the Warren James ones they may be a bit too sparkly for her! I will take a look at the rest now. Smile

I order from www.jewellerybox.co.uk/category/jewellery/jewellery.html and have never been disappointed. Really reasonably priced and lovely stuff.

buckleten · 12/12/2020 19:35

Etsy is brilliant, so many unusual silver studs - I have bought sausage dog studs for one daughter as she is obsessed withthem, and tiny jellyfish ones too!

Jimbellselmbath · 12/12/2020 20:23

Silver jewellery is horrid. It goes all black in the piercing site. Much better with titanium

ferretface · 12/12/2020 21:48

Silver is fine for regular day wear, but if she's planning on wearing them all the time (which may be the case given piercing is still relatively new), a totally non reactive metal would be better as jimbells points out. If they are butterfly backs though she presumably won't sleep in them (so uncomfortable!)

Letseatgrandma · 13/12/2020 12:20

Not on the High Street has some lovely silver studs.

As an aside, I have always slept in silver studs with butterflies and they have never been uncomfortable or made the hole go black!

hellswelshy · 13/12/2020 14:39

Thank you all! I did have a quick look at titanium earrings but couldn't find as wide a variety. Lovely ones on Etsy I'm tempted by. Will take a look at Not on The High Street Smile

tofuschnitzel · 13/12/2020 17:13

I buy most of my jewelry from Etsy. They have a massive selection and lots of different price points.

Scrunchcake · 13/12/2020 17:17

There's some cute ones here: www.chirpystore.co.uk/store/sterling-silver-mini-geo-studs

I have 4 dds 9-14 and buy their earrings on not on the high street also.

Oblomov21 · 13/02/2021 17:06

I need some titanium ones, but can't find any plain small studs.

Shony · 13/02/2021 17:12

I love pewterhooter earrings but they're maybe too sparkly.

MechantGourmet · 13/02/2021 18:12

All the ones I've bought DD have been Not On The High Street- tiny planets, stars, apples, rainbows, unicorns, cameras etc.

FWIW I wear silver sleepers permanently- I've never had them go black or leave my piercing site manky Confused (over 30 years).

Serenity jewellery, lots of titanium here, including the ones commonly used for piercing.

Cheap and excellent service in my experience. Lots of body piercings too.

Solace jewellery have lovely stuff, and it's hypoallergenic, in surgical steel.
