Extra small make up bag... please help me find one

My daughter has asked for a make up bag small enough just for a lipstick/lip balm, a touch up compact and a tiny mirror. She uses quite small bags and wants something to carry just these in.

I can't find anything and wondered if anyone out there had, or had any good ideas about what else she could use.

Thank you.

I would look for a coin purse. There's this in kipling.

Yes I second a coin purse.

Aspinal of London should have something!

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 12/12/2020 11:59

Or maybe something like this from Barbour:

Small leather jewellery case

Although, infuriatingly, the website doesn’t have details of dimensions! It looks small though.

Mind you a pouch might be better as it would more easily fit into a small bag.

this from Aspinal but it may be too small?

Otherwise the Lisa Eldridge makeup pouches are on the smaller side and very malleable so long as they're not fully filled up.

I saw some little ones in Superdrug. Lots of lovely patterns too.

Might be too big but they do little puches which might be more what your daughter is after?www.oliverbonas.com/accessories/category/pouches

There are some lovely coin purses etc on Etsy or Folksy - small business support too

didireallysaythat · 12/12/2020 13:34

PS if you search Etsy I'd suggest filtering by UK vendors to ensure it arrives in time.

bellagogosdead · 12/12/2020 13:41

Yes she needs a pouch! I love a pouch i have one for my mp3 player, one for makeup, one for medication, one for masks ,one for my charger... I might have a problem Grin
Most of mine are from Ikea ( not fancy)

Darklane · 12/12/2020 15:05

Kipling pouches come in different sizes, some very small

justgeton · 12/12/2020 15:42

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I've ordered one I think she'll like, and I'm still tempted by the lovely Aspinal one for myself 🤦🏻‍♀️

I use a Longchamp Le Pliage coin purse. So cute .

SpecialchildSupermum · 13/12/2020 08:09

I bought a very slim pencil case from John Lewis. It’s perfect for putting in essential makeup

thebabessavedme · 13/12/2020 08:32

I have the little Aspinal one in gold, its beautifully made, I can fit 2 lpisticks, a sample size mascara and a small lip pencil in, I use it every day and so far its still looking lovely despite being in my handbag all the time.

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 13/12/2020 08:47

I knew it was going to be that little Aspinal tidy case Botemp had linked to... I love it, have had my eye on it for ages and am going to get it for my birthday. Almost bought it last night (last one in stock!) but decided against as there are other priorities this month.

Deathraystare · 16/12/2020 10:44
