Curlers/Tongs for fine hair

Hi,

I got a voucher for Amazon and was looking at curlers for my hair and I'm completely lost. Hoping one of you gurus would be able to help me!

I have quite fine straight hair, just at shoulder length and would like to put a bit of a wave or curl in it to give it some texture or volume. I need one that's fairly easy to use too as I have the hairdressing skills of a banana peel.

Any advice would be gratefully welcomed!

I also have very fine, poker straight hair. Have struggled for years to find curlers that actually create a lasting curl in my hair. I usually find that the curls drop out really quickly.

Best thing I've found for curling my hair - standard straighteners! I have a pair of GHD hair straighteners and a small set of travel straighteners by Babylis. Both do the trick and the curls last.

If you've not used straighteners to curl your hair before, have a look at some tutorials on YouTube. There's a technique to it.

Saying all this.. I'm pretty sure that the likes of GHD, Babylis, Remington etc have created purpose made curling irons now so there are probably products out there that will curl your hair in a similar fashion to the way straightener straighten your hair - without having to learn a technique.
