Black Leggings

I'm looking for some thick black leggings with nice amount of stretch but no bagging.

Must be warm as I want to wear them for walking, and don't mind paying a bit because I'll wear them loads.

Ideas?

I have these and they are really nice and thick, no sagging at all

Sainsbury's every time, wear thick socks for the warmth. But the leggings are totally opaque, wash and wash and keep shape. The luxury ones at £10.

Second vote for Sainsburys-great leggings!

Magicbabywaves · 09/12/2020 21:04

Sainsbury’s

Love Leggings - wouldn’t waste my money on any other brand!

I've been wearing love leggings in the maternity range and love them. I've never been a leggings wearer either but feel converted. So warm and comfy.

nancybotwinbloom · 09/12/2020 22:12

I like queenie k on Amazon for walking.

If you get the high waisted ones they hold everything in.

For day to day I've been wearing Asda thick leggings.

The support ones.

becca3210 · 09/12/2020 22:13

Got some love leggings recently and they are as good as everyone says

tassisssss · 09/12/2020 22:15

If it's warm you want the Primark fur lined ones are amazing

If it's normal use with nice fit and decent thickness I like Marks and Spencers

nixso29 · 09/12/2020 22:24

I buy the Primark thick ones, not the fur ones as they are a bit too warm for me. Have spent dearer on ones from other stores and haven't been as good. Definitely going to try the Sainsburys luxury ones though as have heard lots of people mention but can never get them in petite!

Another vote for Love Leggings. Bought a couple of pairs before lockdown and they're still going strong despite wearing practically every day - no sagging at all. They are reasonably thick but I usually pair with warm socks and boots and long jumper/coat if going out walking in cold.

HardCandyChristmas · 09/12/2020 23:38

Ooh thanks all, plenty to look into Smile

I bought the Primark ones but they're already boggled and only been washed 2/3 times.

This has just reminded me of a previous thread where Sainsbury's luxury leggings also got lots of recommendations

Iheartmysmart · 10/12/2020 08:41

I’ve got two pairs of the Sainsbury’s ones. The older pair are great but the new ones appear to be totally different material and are nowhere near as good.

I saw a review in the press for the best leggings out there and ASOS Design Hourglass Leggings with Deep waistband won hands down, so I've ordered myself some, I want ones that pull you in and are deep in colour, these look and sound perfect.

zeromango · 10/12/2020 08:43

I am going to looking into the other suggestions but my go to leggings are ASOS high waisted in black. Really good rise at the waist and don't bag (would recommend going down a size as they have a lot of stretch)
