Got highlights and now I’m washed out - help with make-up?

So I’m usually a level 7 base colour with a few golden highlights but I went to the hairdressers last week and got baby lights - really fine but lots of them. It was her first day back from lockdown and she went a bit crazy and out about 20 foils in (I usually just have around 8). She then put a toner in - the hair itself is a lovely strawberry blonde colour but it’s practically the same colour as my skin (I’m NC25 or 3WO) so medium warm toned skin.
I usually wear quite warm mid toned shades - so light toffee bronzer/eyeshadow and a honey brown lip - usually Twig or Faux. But I just look washed out. Even my usual spring palette wardrobe is washing me out.
Any suggestions? Do I need to go cooler with my makeup to balance me out and a lot more bronzer? I thought that going lighter with hair colour meant less makeup?

I've just recently gone the other way from blond back to dark. But when I went blond I had the same problem, it felt like my face was the same colour as my hair, though I'm neutral/cool toned usually - had to totally change my makeup totally, to much more peachy warm tones and my wardrobe just looked wrong as well. So you might need to introduce more cool tones to balance out if it works the opposite way. Now I'm back to dark hair my cool toned makeup works much better again.

Isn't it strange? I'm kicking myself as I bought a gorgeous peachy camel parka coat which looked gorgeous on me last week but now makes me look like I've been dug up!
Then I had a coat which I had earmarked for ebay as it's a cool taupe brown colour - last week I looked ill in it but now I can wear it.
I'm going to have a play with some slate grey eye makeup and maybe some rose toned blush/lip colours or even maybe a raspberry lipstick - an excuse to hit Boots 😁
