Anyone due their eyebrows at home?

I can't ignore (or keep plucking out BlushShock) the grey hairs in my eyebrows any longer so bought a kit from the supermarket but I'm terrified I'm going to stain my skin or it will look ridiculous. It's called Eylure and I went for dark brown (my eyebrows are very dark brown with grey flecks) but now thinking I might've nearer black.

Anyone done it? is it as straightforward as the packaging suggests?

I’ve done mine a couple of times, incredibly easy! Put Vaseline either side of the brows in so that it doesn’t dye the skin. If they look a bit too dark at first, just wash vigorously with soap and they soon calm down.

I do mine. They do initially come out a bit dark but that soon eases up

I tint mine at home now, have done for ages. Has saved me so much money.

I get the dark brown tint and developer from eBay, make sure they are clean, pop Vaseline around the edges and paint it on (I use an eyeliner brush). I literally only leave it on for a couple of minutes then wipe off with damp cotton wool.

I would do it that way as you can always reapply if it's not to your liking rather than leave on for 5-10 mins and end up with massively dark brows.

I do mine at home. After seeing a YouTuber recommending it, I use Just For Men because you just whack it on, wait 10 mins, then rinse and pop on some conditioner to seal it.

Also tint my own eyelashes. Game changer.

I'd do the recommended patch test if you've not used it before, but definitely easy.
Mix as per instructions, wack it on... wait... taa dahh!
As PP, I'm not sure if will cover grey.

I do mine. I leave it on for between 5 and 10 minutes - it's not too dark imo. It's really easy, especially if you use vaseline around the edges

I do mine. I use brown. Anything darker and it looks bad

GnarlyOldGoatDude · 08/12/2020 22:21

@supercee can you tell me more about eyelashes??

VicMackey · 08/12/2020 22:26

I use a professional eyebrow/lash tint (salon system)mwhich I’d say lasts ten days days max. The eyelure/drugstore ones fade after a few days so really don’t worry about it.
