Massage in a spa?

My best friend is recently bereaved, this year for lots of people has been absolutely shit. She's struggling emotionally, she has a parent who relies on her heavily and family members who just expect her to do their bidding. She's so conditioned it doesn't occur to her to tell them to sod off.

I want to do something for her, I did think about a night away and a massage but with current restrictions that's not possible if we're not in the same household.

So I'm thinking I'll book her for a nice hot stone massage which she loves. I really wanted to get her away for an evening where no one needs her etc.

Any ideas?

Are you certain she'd be happy to go along to a spa on her own?

She won't be alone I'll be going but we'll go in separate cars and obviously separate rooms/therapist
