Persevere with skin or get the implant out

I got the implant back at the end of August for the first time. I was not prepared for the hell it has put my skin through! I’ve had the worst acne in my life, my skin was pretty clear before! Shock

I thought I’d give it a chance, I knew the hormones would be causing it.

I had no real skincare routine before , so about 3-4 weeks ago I started using a salicylic acid cleaner , niaciamide and the occasion Paula’s choice exfoliator. I was hoping it would help. I don’t think it has. I’m unsure if I’m purging. Confused

It’s been 3 months since the implant and my skin, whilst not as bad as it has been, is still a mess.

I have an appointment to get it taken out tomorrow. Is it time to give up on it or should I be giving it a bit more time? I haven’t had much of a period since being on it which is a joy ,Smile so I’m on the fence.

Is this depo provera?
I had the worst acne of my life in that - it just kept getting worse and worse. I would have it taken out.
