Walking date : dress and trainers?

Just this really, I'm going on yet another lockdown walk and I want to wear a beautiful dress but need to be comfortable enough to walk for 5 hours! Mini dress, cardi and supergas with parka? Does that sound like it would work?

I seem to be in a warmer bit of the UK, or at least not as cold natured. I think a shirt/dress with tights and trainers and some sort of coat with a hat would be perfectly comfortable regarding both temperature and 5 hours of city walking. I have several pairs of fabulous trainers that would be perfect for this from skechers to shoe the bear.
