2 pairs of my boots have died this week and need new ones.

I need help as I cant find what I'm looking for.
Not totally flat but more thick sole or wedge than heel
Warm and water proof
Ankle ish height
Wear with skinny Jean's or leggings, maybe thick tights on smarter days?

Not super expensive

Any suggestions gracefully received

Thank you

I adore my doc Martens Sinclairs in the soft leather and wear them for the school run. But I’m pretty sure they count as expensive

Second (or third) Fly. Warm, comfortable and splashproof. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and still look good. Noticed there’s quite a lot of Fly boots making an appearance at school this term - like to think I started a trend!

I have Nellie Chukka boots from Timberland - they’re waterproof and sturdy and don’t slip around too much if I dash out of the house without doing the laces up. They’re over £100 new but come up on eBay quite often and are sometimes in the sale at Schuh
