Skincare for mid 40s

What are you using for skincare if you're 45?

Before All This started, I used Clarins face wash, moisturiser and serum at crazy prices but my skin was generally in good nick. I have a fair few lines emerging but I'm (mostly) at peace with them so long as my skin is clear and glowy.

Lockdown v.1 and an extended period of self isolation meant I ended up using up every odd and sod of stuff in my bathroom cabinet and relying on Aldi basics and free samples of Tropic skincare (yes I do understand the concept of internet shopping but it wasn't my top priority).

Everything has run out and I need new everything - what do people suggest? I am blanching at a return to my previous spendy Clarins stuff - would prefer to top out at about Clinique prices.

Also, I am extremely time poor and not into hours of multi step regimes so the simpler the better!

I'm 47 and mainly use LaRoche Posay and other pharmacy brands for serums etc.
I actually use plain old Nivea as a night cream.

I would go cheap cleaner and moisturizer and splurge on serums and good spf

I'm trying to cut down the cost of my previous Lancome regime, and I've moved over to No7 stuff. It seems like a good compromise
