So I was messing around with the enhance filter on TikTok and found a lipstick shade that I really liked on me. Does anyone know of one like it that I can buy? Sorry for the awful picture...

Ooh I've just been trying this. I didn't find a good fit for the purple yet but it turns out Ruby Woo suits me!

Hmmm, having looked at the shades it looks like it's somewhere between Haze and Nocturna?

Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte - the lip crayon ones. Check out the deeper colours like Boss, Extreme and Dare. Although they are mattes they are not drying and I find the texture long lasting but quite forgiving.

Check out Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink and their 24 hour superstay collection. They have loads of dark/purple, very opaque and pigmented colours. With amazing staying power!

Revlon VaVa Violet?

Yes it was haze I was thinking about. I checked my nars one and it’s scarlet empress, it isn’t as much of a muted tone as the KVD one, but the colour is gorgeous and you can layer it on to make it darker. Illamasqua lipstick in energy is a nice purple but maybe a bit too vibrant than what you are looking for.

Nyx French Maid matte lip cream is very similar to this. Its a gorgeous colour, and very flattering!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've now bought the following (3 for 2 in Tesco), though my quest for this exact shade continues...

1. Revlon matte cherries in snow (as a dupe for Mac Ruby Woo)
2. Revlon black cherries (which I expected to be a lot more purple based on how it looks in the tube than it actually is)
3. Rimmel matte lip cream in Urban Affair

They're all nice, though I tried them on with no other make up which is always a mistake when the colours are so deep...

I've had to stop myself from buying any more just because they look nice, and will wait until such a time as I can swatch test colours.

Mac whirl. I have a mini that I swatched on my hand and its almost the same. Doesn't suit me though!

That's much darker than Mac Whirl. Whirl is slightly more than a 'your lips but better' shade.

No 7 stay perfect dark berry is exactly like your picture (on me, can't guarantee it'll look the same on you).

I had Smashbox Be Legendary Plum Role which was a dark blackened plum colour.

Thanks for the new suggestions! I've just ordered NYX French Maid having vowed less than 24 hours earlier not to buy any more. However I will check these other shades out henceforth and forthwith!
