Looking for recommendations for a good facial spf that can either be worn on its on or under make up. I'd hate something thick, white and greasy that takes ages to rub in.
At least spf 25

Biore UV watery essence, not at all greasy

BillyGroatsChuff · 03/12/2020 21:28

Heliocare SPF50 is fab

Ren skincare do a great spf. Mineral based, better than chemical spf, rubs in easy no white sheen.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen - I’m a recent convert. Works well on its own and under makeup (I have tried it under both liquid and loose powder foundation).

Agree with poster above... Biore watery essence from Amazon. Factor 50 and more of a lotion than a cream, great under make up and not greasy.

Mychelle Dermaceuticals Sun Shield Liquid Facial Protection SPF 50 untinted.

What is your skin type OP? That's important. Even a lot of the 'non greasy' products sit on top of my oily skin. I was gutted with watery essence I waited ages for it to arrive and when it did it was like a shiney film on my face. I realised the nivea I was making do with until the special Boire came through was superior for my skin type.

Ah this is interesting, thanks - I use the shine free Nivea spf50 and happy with it... keep wondering whether I should try watery essence but might be a bit shiny on me too.

That's the one I use the shine free, I picked it up while I was waiting for the Boire to come through. A lot of people say they are happy with the watery essence so it can't be everyone.
I like the Eclat mineral spf 50 too, that sinks in after half an hour or so, but it does disappear properly into the skin and it smells lovely like oranges.

This week I tried the Heliocare spf 90 in a gel, that feels nice it has a subtle tint that would probably suit most shades and soaks in with a nice shine, not a greasy shine, more like dewey IYKWIM.
