30/40 denier black tights that last... recommendations please!

I've always sworn by M&S tights but their quality has gone downhill and I seem to be getting ladders or holes in the toe seam (the MOST irritating feeling) the first time I wear them now

I don't want to buy super expensive tights for everyday but there must be somewhere that sells a decent alternative? I've tried supermarket tights and they aren't smooth like the M&S ones. Recommendations please!

Clicked to say definitely snag tights, but see I'm not the only one! Op they are the Best. Tights. Ever. I've chucked out every other brand and now only buy these. And they last really well.

I bought some opaques in Waitrose last year (so John Lewis's own) and they were lovely. Soft, lasted well, good size and didn't roll down. And NO SHINE.

I hate shiny tights.

They had black, navy, brown, dark grey and a nice sort of berry colour.

And dark green i think.

Primary bodyshapers. Some of mine are years old and they don't slip down.

I've not tried snags but I rate Sainsburys own (multi pack).
