Stupid Question - What colour make up would go with my eyes?

So I'm not very good with make up. At all. I normally just slap a years worth of eyeliner on and get on my way. I like grey's but to be honest, I don't know what colour my eyes are in the first place? Hazel? Brown? There are so many different choices. I want to do something nice for christmas so any ideas would be helpful.

Olive green eyeshadow with a hint of gold in it. Bottle green also.

I'd say your eyes are too dark to be hazel - maybe light to mid brown.

Id also say brown. Tbh, there's not much that you can't wear, colour wise. My eyes are brown and I wear brown, pale pink with a tiny bit of shimmer, green, purple, grey. I only really steer clear of that orange shade that seems popular right now because it makes me look like someone punched me in the face, but most colours are fine.

My daughters are a similar colour and I’d say good / bronze shades would look good on you. That would go with your Christmas Day dress colour too,

Your eyes are an olive in the outer ring so I’d say they are hazel.

@Janegrey333 I always see green in my eyes but a lot of people don't so I guess that's why I don't know what colour they are lol

If you use some green on your eyelids, it should accentuate the green that is definitely there!

I have light green eyes with a golden sort of starry bit around the pupils and that works for me. Wearing green itself should help too so your emerald dress should be perfect.

Bronze, browns, pinky taupes, greens. I would use brown, bronze or dark green eyeliner instead of black. The Clinique quick liner (normal and intense) are amazing.

Mine are similar, but with more green away from the iris. I wear grey eyeliner or a dark green if going out ( I wish!). Eye shadow is sometimes on the brown taupe range, but a greyish green is better.

I have similar eyes. I tight line with a purple pencil and everyone thinks I have green eyes.

Mine are similar and I use Nars Galapagos all the time. It can be built up and its lovely and has lots of gold in it.

Lovely hazel eyes! And good flicky eyeliner (I absolutely can’t do that). If you want people to notice the green in your eyes, try either a brick red (yes, really - Ruby and Millie did in, looked odd until you put it on and then it worked well) - or purple shades. Funnily enough, neutrals, greens and golds will enhance the brown.

Green-hazel eyes are the most rare - green in particular.
