Hair getting matted in the same place everyday, best way to fix?

Hi,

So my hair has grown pretty long this year, it keeps getting tangled on the right side of my head, at the same level as my right ear, maybe a bit lower.

I can only use head and shoulders shampoo, anything else I've tried gives me dandruff/scabby issues!

I've tried conditioner and brushing it out, I haven't tried a de tangling spray- any recommendations? My hair is very fine, breaks easily but this is the longest it's ever been! I'd like to keep it!

Apparently having a silk pillowcase on your bed can prevent knots in your hair.
