Favourite winter perfume

I'm not even sure if a "winter" perfume is a thing, but I have really nice ones that I would only wear in the summer because they're all light and just generally smell summery.

But anyway, what are your favourites?

It doesn't suit me as too much vanilla but I love Maison Margiela - Replica By the Fireplace on other people. Warm and woodsy it definitely isn't summer.

MooMinCow · 02/12/2020 19:42

Something warm and spicy definitely! The original Coco by Chanel, or Coromandel (Chanel Exclusif). CK Obsession, Tom Ford Oud Wood. I like something woody and spicy or patchouli heavy that lingers all day Grin

Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka. I start wearing it in October. Stop about March.

In winter I love -
Hypnotic Poison
Coco Mademoiselle
Molton Brown Milk Musk

I can tolerate sweet fragrances more in winter (not a fan in warmer months) but also love a spicy, unisex fragrance too like Body Shop's Bowhanti.

I'm on the ledger for Ffern's Winter perfume and am excited for that arriving!

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 02/12/2020 20:23

Chanel No5
Coco (but only the original)
And Other Stories Sardonx Fire
Opium (evenings)

LadyOfTheCanyon · 02/12/2020 21:03

Halfeti for sure

L'eau d'Hiver - Frederic Malle

Tobacco Vanille - Tom Ford

Portrait of a lady - smells great in the winter: I find it just too much in the summer

Bapteme du feu - Serge Lutens

I'm also still a fan of JPG Classique especially in the winter. Again it's too blousy in summer but on cool winter skin I find it a very cosy smell.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/12/2020 21:42

Quite a few mentioned already:

By the Fireplace
L’eau D’Hiver
Portrait of a Lady
Coco

I also like Mitsouko, Black Opium, and Liz Earle No 15 in colder weather.

AriesTheRam · 02/12/2020 22:06

I got a Tonka fragrance in my liberty calendar last year, it's amazing. Not sure of the brand but it's just called tonka and stocked in Liberty!

goldpendant · 02/12/2020 22:24

Ah, by Le Labo

Alexandernevermind · 02/12/2020 22:28

The classics for me:
Coco or Coco Mademoiselle,
Jean Paul Gaultier,
Boss Ma Vie
Mon Paris
