Botox on hooded eyelids

Has anyone here had botox on hooded eyelids? I have very droopy eyelids, it runs in the family. I would like to give it a go, to see whether it makes much of a difference, but am nervous of ending up with arched unnatural eyebrows. How did it go for you?

I used to have droopy eyelids and have had Botox lots over the previous 10 years but wouldn’t say it helped at all. In fact when I decided to get an upper blepharoplsty to permanently deal with hooded eyelids my surgeon said Botox would probably make hooded eyelids worse. I think it was because sometimes you can’t lift your eyebrows much with Botox if you get lots so might make the drooping worse.

@trumpisaflump how successful did you find the surgery? I have very droopy upper lids but also quite arched high eyebrows so fearful of having any surgery which would lift the brows

The surgery was amazing. I didn't have surgery to raise my brows as the surgeon I went to doesn't think this is too successful. I had an upper blepharoplasty which really just removes excess skin on your eyelids. All done under local anaesthetic. When I look back at old photos of me now I can't believe the difference!

Only if you go for brow lift. I had just skin removed from eyelids, eyebrows were not touched and stayed in their previous place.
