I've fallen a little in love with these boots. Has anybody got them? Should I treat myself?

What would you wear them with, if you like them? if you hate them, I don't care because I like them! Grin

I like them a lot op, I like plain boots.

Namerchanger42 · 02/12/2020 20:36

@JaneJeffer

It looks like the heel and sole are badly glued on.
Yes this. If you buy them I would wear with a 70’s style flared knee length skirt.
Blondiney · 02/12/2020 20:47

Plain is good for boots. I'd wear them under midi dresses/skirts for a 70s librarian kinda vibe.

fiorentina · 02/12/2020 20:57

I have had similar in the past, and wore them over skinnies when that look was more fashionable. However also with midi skirts, longer dresses and sometimes culottes.
They were very useful.

I like plain boots. I'd wear those with a long tube skirt.

whysorude · 02/12/2020 22:41

They're lovely OP.

emilybrontescorsett · 02/12/2020 22:45

I like them.

Barmbraic · 02/12/2020 22:46

I had a similar pair that I wore til they fell apart. I think the brand was heavenly feet, memory foam inner, it was like walking on a beautifully squidgy cloud. Happy memories of happy feet.

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 02/12/2020 22:48

I like them a lot. I’d wear them with mini/midi/maxi skirts, jeggings and long jumpers, and dresses.

BusterGonad · 02/12/2020 22:59

I like them, I'm not sure why people think they are plain, granted no tassles etc but I bet they are the type of boot that will get worn to death as they look like they'd go with everything. I would personally wear them with short dresses and chunky cardigans (or jumper dress) or slim jeans and a chunky long jumper.

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 02/12/2020 23:00

Would look great with a jumper dress!

Atalune · 02/12/2020 23:04

Love

Sezane has an almost identical pair last season. Very 1970s.

MIDI dresses obviously. But also ticked into yo slim/skinny leg jeans, with a v neck t shirt and a big slouchy cardigan. Gorg.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/12/2020 18:18

:) I'm not looking at them again until January, but pleased to see that so many people like them.

I've got lots of midi dresses which I think they'll work with.

Now - has anybody seen any nice jumper dresses?

I think that they're very dated (rather than retro!) and I speak as someone who is 68.

CherryBlossomTree7 · 22/12/2020 23:14

Not my cup of tea.

I don't like how they're styled on the picture so the dress covers the tops of them. It makes the boots look clunky. They would look best with skinny jeans and a jumper. Would look okay with tights and a dress shorter enough so it doesn't cover the tops of them.
