Scrunchies pre teens

Are scrunchies back in fashion now, or am I totally off the mark? Looking for gifts for my 12 yo niece for Christmas, but I don't have a clue!
My 5 yo loves them, but don't know if older children would think them naff?
Anyone with preteens who can advise me please?

Yes they've been wearing scrunchies for a while my DD 13 like silky or velvet ones

My dd has a load of velvet ones and I've got her some metallic sparkly ones for Christmas. Was worried dn would not be impressed following a 5yo's fashion sense 😁

You might be better off buying her an eyeshadow palette from Revolution from Superdrug. Very popular with that age group.

yes which is great news for my think hair thats looks so much better in a scrunchie than a band. the silk ones from lilysilk are lovely.
