Where do teenager girls shop these days then?

I feel so old asking this... when I was a teenager 19 years ago Topshop was THE shop so it does seem strange to see it's current state.

When I was a teenager nearly all teenage girls shopped there despite it being massively overpriced....Just wondered where they all shop now?

@Karcheer

Hadnt heard of Brandy Melville so just looked at the webpage - it's nothing special is it...
Oh I quite like it. Also just had a look. Lots of stuff that isn’t too mega-cropped or ripped jeans. Bit preppy for my style but my daughter might get on with it.

I've just taken a look at Brandy Melville, looks just like the outfits from Clueless!

Hollister, Top Shop (for jeans), ASOS, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Zara

Oh and my wardrobe, on the look out for anything that might be deemed vintage Hmm Thanks DD. And brothers’ wardrobes for oversized rugby shirts etc.

Careful with Brandy Melville as everything comes in one size which is very small. The sales assistants have a reputation of looking down at people if they ask for things in bigger sizes. Doesn't sound very good to me...

Brandy Melville fascinates me - I had never heard of it, but there’s always a massive queue outside it in Carnaby Street... I didn’t think I was THAT old 😂

Urban outfitters , overpriced imo.
Pull and Bear.
H and M.
Hollister

Brandy Melville first became (in)famous because they only stocked size 0. So obviously all the girls flocked there to see if they could wear the clothes. It's a bit of the marketing trick though since the clothes are not a true XS but more a S/M so the majority of teenage girls do fit inside.

I'm quite surprised Topshop went under but Urban Outfitters is still going strong! I loved going to both on Ox Circus but everything in Urban looked like it was from a thrift shop and was 2-3x more expensive than Topshop. Way over a student budget and I only ever bought single tshirt from Urban during my entire uni years. Though having said that I adore Anthropologie. Heaven for your mid 30s Grin
