What are you all wearing on Christmas Day? Inspire me! I want something pretty but comfy

Black jeans and a black jumper with sequins on the sleeves.

Khaki jumper dress with tights and boots

Sequin skirt, black top, black tights.

I've got a green glittery dress. Hopefully will have stopped breastfeeding by then (me and DS are very much not on the same page about this) but it's a wrap front just in case. Might wear with glittery tights, because you can't have too much sparkle can you?

I have a breton top with a christmassy picture on the front. I'll probably wear it, maybe with a skirt and tights and a cardi. Slippers on my feet except when I go for a walk, when I'll wear boots.

It was a photo on someone's pinterest page and it says the dress is from Aeropostale and that is Bethany Mota, American vlogger in the pic incase you can get info that way.

Leggings... need an elasticated waist band (pregnant) and a sparkly top.

Haven't decided yet as we don't know I'd it will just be DH & me or whether we are going to our friends. Something sparkly but comfortable I think!

Which basically means stretchy trousers or leggings with a velvet top. Velvet = festive for me, glad to see so many others agree!

I'm going to wear this jumper which is so much nicer in real life than in the photo! (doesn't normally happen!) and my plan is to get a sparkly midi skirt to wear it with along with my gorgeous suede open fronted shoe boots, but I'm a short arse and struggling to see anything online that wouldn't make me look ridiculous. I'm going to actual shops at the weekend and hoping I'll find something there.

@KTD27 it's just from Very but it's gone off the website now (I bought it about 6 weeks ago) Yes the sleeves are lovely on it and it's really sparkly. Maybe you'd find it on eBay?

Tesco have lots of jumpers with the same sort of sleeves, just plain glittery ones though.

Yes, I agree. I have a beautiful jumper dress, but there is no way I am wearing it while making Christmas dinner! Far too hot. I'm going with a Christmas top and skirt.

Boxing day probably my Run&Fly robin dress.

I have a long pleated black and gold skirt from TU and will wear it with a black jumper with a gold thread thourgh it from Phase Eight - all elasticated essential!

I’m going to wear a gold sequinned midi skirt, with a black alpaca turtleneck jumper, Black opaques, and probably black Stan Smiths. The skirt was an eBay bargain, and the jumper is new from the Other Stories sale.
