Walking trousers help!

We live very rurally and I need walking trousers that are very water resistant or waterproof and warm. They will see a lot of mud so must be up to being washed a lot as I walk the dog every day through very muddy fields. I'm hoping for something skinny style that I can tuck into boots. Anyone have any ideas?

Those look interesting. Have you tried them?

Not myself but I always see good reviews on here for them and remembered the name!

Have a look at winter riding leggings. Plenty come without the usual telltale grippy seat/inner leg so just look like leggings.

I'd recommend brands like toggi, shires, Mark Todd, Hyperformance or GS Equestrian if you don't want to pay much.

I think decathlon do some waterproof, fleece lined ones, which are supposed to be very effective, if not the prettiest!

Sorry, I meant winter riding tights. Winter breeches would also probably do the trick

I have some of the decathlon thermal running leggings which are quite good & I prefer wearing them for walking than my walking trousers.

Craghoppers Kiwi Pro are fleecy-lined and waterproof. I've had a pair of the Kiwi (not the pro ones - lined but not waterproof) and they were very comfy and warm.

Acai but I am also a fan of winter running leggings. Not always waterproof but very easy to clean and dry.

I have the kiwi pro, they aren't lined, but I just wear thermal leggings underneath, so warm and comfy.
