DP and Wallis

I like DP AND Wallis. I used to like Oasis.

If the Arcadia group is about to bust, where do I buy clothes from now?

I'm petite so need that option for some items.

It’s a bummer isn’t it? I’m tall and have got lots of their clothes. I do buy loads from New Look as their tall collection is better.

Same here, love Wallis Petite for work clothes and Bille & Blossom petite from Dotty Ps for going out stuff. I'm mid 40s, I can't be shopping from ASOS or Pretty Little Thing. Oasis was my go-to for tshirts and jumpers.

I seem to buy all my trousers at mint velvet now because they have a 'short' leg length. Not the cheapest place to buy trousers but they fit perfectly. I mist oasis too. It was a great place for a new top when you needed Glitterball. a new top!

I'm mid forties and love DP dresses.

I don't like Next and I looked at ASOS tonight and could only find 4 dresses in my size that are petite and they were all awful.

I really have no idea what to buy now. Mint velvet is ok but I don't love their stuff and it's very pricey.

Am I doomed to a life shopping in primark and M&S? Shock

Sorry, is Dorothy Perkins about to go bust?!

Tanfastic · 30/11/2020 21:15

Late forties, not a massive disposable income so can't afford places like Mint Velvet but I get a lot of nice bits from H&M, Tu, Matalan, Primark for casual bits (leggings, sweatshirts etc), and Very.

MummytoCSJH · 30/11/2020 21:32

I love Dorothy Perkins as their stuff always fits me perfectly! I'm sad :(

Shopaholic100 · 30/11/2020 23:03

I’m going to miss the dresses from Dorothy Perkins.

I am petite too, and buy pretty much everything from the petite ranges at m and s or Boden. M and S petite has been shocking since March though, absolutely tiny range. It was never enormous, and the release of items into the website was very sporadic, but it is minuscule now. I haven’t bought anything from Boden all year though as I haven’t needed anything from there.

Ebay is rammed with new or barely worn clothes, they're bound to feature these mainstream stores.
