Dyson airwrap

I have a babyliss big hair and love it. Does an airwrap have that sort of spinning brush attachment?

I'm dithering about getting one!

No, the brush part that's like the Babyliss doesn't spin

But the curling wand parts do suck the hair round it to create soft curls

It's the best investment I made in my hair in years.

hopeishere · 29/11/2020 22:36

The babyliss has been amazing for my hair. It looks like it's been professionally done if I really take my time. But I'd like to try loose curls occasionally.

I keep thinking of getting an air wrap but it's soooo expensive!

I know Cuddling57 we are getting a bonus this year in work and that's why I'm thinking of getting one.

I briefly had an Airwrap. I returned it to QVC because I found it to be a massive faff and a very expensive way of replicating a look that I can achieve more quickly with bog standard big barrel curling tongs. I also have a BBH and think this gives better results than the Airwrap. The Dyson also made my hair feel very dry and very staticy where as the BBH makes it shinier and bouncy.

I have both and haven't used the BBH since I got the airwrap. My hair is in so much better condition, as there's no tugging from brush. And BBH blows air outwards while airwrap pulls it in, so I don't end up with frizz and flyaways

My hair's quite fine and i found with the barrels on the Airwrap, the other bits that I wasnt curling blew about everywhere and got in the way. The curls also dropped out really quickly despite the hours I spent following youtube tutorials🤣 The brush attachments are nothing special to justify the enormous cost either. I really wanted to like it, but just didnt get on with it. I just think my hair's better suited to the BBH.

Another one here who doesn't rate the Airwrap. I, too, returned it; I really wanted to love it but the only part I rated was the hot smoothing brush. I have a Dyson hairdryer which I do love as does anyone who's tried it.

This!

Airwrap is a game changer and so fast!
