Azelaic acid

I use The Ordinary's azelaic acid suspension, but it seems never to be in stock any more and I'm starting to run low! Does anyone know of any other brands that are as good and not horribly expensive? It doesn't appear to be a very common ingredient.

I'm using paulas choice but it is expensive! However they have a sale on at the moment and PC products are really good quality

Another vote for Garden of Wisdom

I use one by Face Theory. It is expensive, but stronger than The Ordinary, (I think), so it goes a long way.

Have you tried the Deciem website? Sometimes I can't find The Ordinary anywhere, but then find it there.

Ive been on i dont know how many websites (including the Deciem site) looking for this and have registered my email for in stock notifications and have clearly never been sent an email!

Ive stocked up and bought my permitted 5 tubes. That should keep me going 😊

Haha, yes I always go for the full set of 5! Niacinamide in my case. If anyone wants to take any niacinamide from me, they will have to prize it from my cold dead hands .

What does azaelic acid and niacinamide do?

Both are for problem skin. In my case, it is rosacea. The niacinamide especially works for me. The azeleic acid I also use because I once had it prescribed for me when I was breastfeeding and had a bad rosacea flare up, but they couldn't give me antibiotics due to the bfing. Not sure how much it really does for me though... but I still use it .

I find Niacinamide breaks me out but Azelaic makes my skin so, so soft. And smooth. I love it for under foundation.

Argh, this'll teach me to check the threads I started! Deciem seems to be out of stock already, but I'll have a look at the Garden of Wisdom stuff now. Thanks to everyone who's replied.

Yes I know! But the Deciem website has it in stock while Boots, Asos, Cult etc often have it out of stock .

I realised I was looking at the US version of Deciem, and when I switched to the UK, it was in stock. So I've sorted myself out now. Thanks to SylvieSangFroid for putting me onto that site.
