Nail Varnish/beauty gifts recommendations needed!

I have a friend who has been amazing this year (and last) and want to get her something as a thank you. She loves holographic nail varnish and sparkly eyeshadow, more the nail varnish.

I'd love to get her a gift set or something, but I haven't purchased any make up for about 10 years so no idea where to even start, can people recommend their favourites for me please?
