Hoodie for 17 year old boy

DS1 would like a hoodie - preferably navy, possibly dark green, deep red etc. I thought this looked perfect, even ordered it, and then I saw the back of the hood and cancelled pronto 😂 He's not into logos, not sporty just wants something good quality that he can wear day in day out. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

My 14 year old has a plain black zip up Superdry one with just a tiny round logo on the chest.

justthecat · 29/11/2020 08:15

I’ve bought mine a notthface one off jd sports, they’ve got a good selection

ConcernedParentAgain · 29/11/2020 09:59

My DS is not into designer gear or logos either but he loves hoodies from Superdry, Tommy Hilfiger and Northface and they are all good quality. Superdry have really nice colours.

I bought my 20 yo son
this one from Levis.

I know he suits & likes Levi stuff though.

H&M do completely plain men's hoodies, my son has a few. They wear and wash well.

NameChangePropertyAdvice · 29/11/2020 19:24

Thanks, some good leads there. I like this one but I can't decide if it's a bit cringeworthy given that he was born in 2003!

He's utterly uninterested in clothes and really doesn't see why his pulled, faded, worn-every-day-for-two-years cardie might need retiring 😂

What about something like this......
www.hollisterco.com/shop/uk/p/icon-hoodie-42403823?seq=12&faceout=prod1
We have a number of hoodies from here and they wash and wear well so far.

Enjoy it while you can 😂

GhostTypeEevee · 29/11/2020 20:17

My son wears the plain H&M hoodies. They wash really well and there is 20% off which is finishing today

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/11/2020 20:22

The Superdry ones (the plainer ones without ridiculous logos) are good - nice quality.

NameChangePropertyAdvice · 29/11/2020 21:27

Any tips on Superdry sizing please? He's 6ft and skinny as a rake. Chest measurement 32/33ish...

Standrewsschool · 29/11/2020 21:38

I think they come up quite small. Go up a size or two.

I love these

I'd say M Superdry. The models are mostly 6ft 2 or thereabouts in a M. There was a calculator too. DS is 5ft 5 and the S is huge on him, should fit years.

ConcernedParentAgain · 30/11/2020 09:06

Mine is a similar size and wears M Superdry.
