Straighteners but not GHDs?

I’m trying to buy some for my mum, she’s never used them and doesn’t want the poker straight look. I’ve only ever used GHDs but she’s said definitely not those and she’s I think wanting less heat not more. Loads of deals on but I can’t choose! Tresemme do some with adjustable heat settings - anyone tried them ? Or any other recommendations? TIA

Cloud Nine. They are good like the original GHDs and they also have variable heat settings. I love mine. I have used them almost daily for 6/7 years and they are still going strong.

Glamoriser from Argos. I can't recommend these enough. I've been a ghd user for years and bought these and they're just as good as ghds. I love them. They are about £35

Thanks and I will look both of those up. I’ve heard of Cloud nines before , didn’t realise about the adjustable setting . Haven’t heard of the glamourisers so off to look, thanks both!

L'Oreal's Steampod seems to get good reviews on here - apparently it's better for your hair using steam and also doesn't give such a poker straight look. Don't have one myself but am currently considering buying one.

Second Cloud 9s. They are ace and widely considered to be the best AFAIK.

Remington. I haven’t noticed the difference between them and GHDs and less than 25% of the price.

Another vote for Cloud 9. Hands down the best.

Thanks all. Which Remington ones do you have Bamboo15? There seem to be a few and things like Keratin or copper plated etc, they look good
