Fluffy, Bouncy, Flyaway Hair After Washing

As I get older my hair seems to get more unruly. When I wash it, it's got a will of it's own and when dried I dare not go out in any windy conditions. Not a big fan of hairspray and gel seems to turn my hair into something solid and hard that feels like it's been superglued. I've also tried products like Pantene Smooth & Sleek hair mask which did nothing. y hair has never been bleached or coloured.

On the rare occasions that I don't wash my hair for a few days a bit of the natural oil returns and it actually starts getting a bit more manageable. But if I leave it another couple of days it just goes greasy.

What can I use to tame my hair that looks sort of natural and means it won't turn into a fluffy mess in the slightest breeze.

Use shampoo & conditioner with no sulphates or parabens. Herbal essences zero range are a good, inexpensive option. Use a light hair oil before blow drying.
Have you tried dry shampoo to get an extra day out of it before washing? I find spraying it in liberally before bed, give it a brush and tie in a plait (if long) gives the best result, good brush through in the morning and there's no grease left.

Also, don't rub your hair with your towel and try to only comb when wet/damp.

I’m the same, I get fluffy hair after it’s washed. But it also has greasy roots and dry ends so leaving it longer in between washes doesn’t work. It’s better on day 2 but by day 3 it’s greasy and needs washing again.

Mine is the same, if hubby breathes on it then it will move. Not found an answer yet either!
