Husband has requested “nice PJs” for Christmas, help!

H doesn’t usually wear PJs but has requested a nice pair for Christmas. I’m thinking good quality trousers and button up shirt. Nice and soft and warm. But when I look they all seem to be really old man style!

Should I just get on old man pair for him? I don’t really want to get joggers and a t-shirt...

Quality is key. Happy to spend £60 or so. Any advice welcome!☺️

Luna and Noon are great. A little more expensive but very soft and you should be able to get a Black Friday bargain

ChelseaCat · 26/11/2020 19:26

Oh sorry, just looked and L&N are quite a bit more expensive, plus not many men’s options at the moment...

MrsTwitcher · 26/11/2020 19:34

Do you want brushed cotton

PurpleFeather · 26/11/2020 19:46

Ohhh Chelsea they are nice but a bit above my price range like you say

Yes @MrsTwitcher brushed preferably though I am open to suggestions!

Superdry and A&F do some good ones that don’t look old fashioned.

Fat face!

Dh got two nice pairs from debenhams ahead of a hospital stay. Button through style as you describe but small subtle prints rather than stripes and sophisticated rather than old man,or at least that's what we went with Grin

Derek Rose are the best but a more budget friendly option is Piglet in Bed - they have a Black Friday discount at the moment which would bring them in at around your budget. I think they only have one or two men’s styles but they’re lovely soft linen which washes and wears well.

Tweetypietwo · 26/11/2020 21:53

Fatface! Dp likes there checked bottoms

Ellapaella · 26/11/2020 23:04

FatFace or cyberjammies

Uniqlo loungewear sets are very nice my dp loves them

skankingpiglet · 27/11/2020 01:53

The White Company pjs are smart, soft, comfy, and last well. I buy DH's lounge wear trousers and DCs pjs there.
The men's pjs are a bit over your budget at full price, but you should be able to get a discount this weekend as they regularly have sales so will likely join in with Black Friday.

Can't beat Boden in my opinion.

I've got the Piglet linen pyjama bottoms, I really like them. They become softer with every wear and they seem warm in winter and cool in summer. They do get crumpled, obviously! The pyjama sets are unisex I think. I've got the blueberry which is a soft mid-grey-blue and has nice white piping.
