I'm sure it's been asked loads of times, but I can't find the threads. Not wellies. Either low ankle boots or substantial shoes. Narrow ankles so I easily blister. Preferably around £50. Could I have suggestions please.

Have a look at ankle Yard boots, Riding boots or Paddock boots. They are sturdy tend to be waterproof and you can get a decent boot that will last.
I'm using a pair of Artist Terrain H20 with zip, I've had them about four years and they are in good nick. They are more than you want to spend but they'll last a long time and give you an idea of what is out there.
