Many selling on fb...is the skincare actually any good?

Yes. Everything I've tried from there is nice. The Drops of Youth, in particular.

Ginfordinner · 23/11/2020 18:33

A lot of mumsnetters hate The Bodyshop, but I particularly like their vitamin E range. I like the Drops of Youth, even though I haven't bought any yet. But it smells so nice.

They were bought a couple of years ago, and are no longer art of l'Oreal, so they can claim their animal friendly credentials again. Just in case someone posts that they are part of l'Oreal.

Big Body Shop fan here. I use the Drops of Youth foaming facewash everyday in the shower and once a week the skin peel. Also use the Vitamin e range for cleansing, toning and moisturising. Olive body butter for my legs

Gooseysgirl · 23/11/2020 18:53

Yes I like the Vitamin C range fit mositurising, Vitamin E for cleansing, camomile eye make up remover, ginger shampoo.

Nonamesavail · 23/11/2020 21:03

I really want to try the drops of youth so I am happy to see it recommended!!!

Vitamin E range very good. Have been using their cleanser for years....

Peppermint foot spray absolutely wonderful in hot weather.

TeaAndHobnob · 23/11/2020 21:09

Drops of youth made me really spotty I'm afraid.

It does smell lovely though!

Their camomile cleansing butter is great though.

PurpleDaisies · 23/11/2020 21:10

I switched to Superdrug which is much cheaper and better. Their naturally radiant range (and many of their others) is vegan and cruelty free.

Nonamesavail · 23/11/2020 21:33

I currently use aldi and super drug. :-)

I like the Naturally Radiant range as well. And it is so cheap. I am a skincare tart and am not loyal to one particular brand.

OneEpisode · 23/11/2020 23:49

Superdrug is also not a MLM, which the Bodyshop is now.

GrimDamnFanjo · 24/11/2020 01:23

I used to buy the chamomile balm but no longer as I don't want to support mlm or a company with dubious politics.

IHaveBrilloHair · 24/11/2020 01:32

Buy from the shop, do not touch any FB sellers.
It's an MLM.

MikeUniformMike · 24/11/2020 19:50

The shops are franchises.

Nonamesavail · 24/11/2020 19:52

Good point. Only bonus is no delivery with body shop reps but guess if I done a bigger order I could order with free delivery anyway.
