Seen a few things on Insta about them & wondered if people rate the make up?

OP posts:

Yes.

I've got lipstick, concealer and mascara from them. Love them all.

TheSilentStars · 23/11/2020 06:39

Absolutely.
Thought it was clever hype until I tried it. I have the corrector, concealer, serum foundation and highlighty pressed power prism thingy. That's my favourite.

Wellhellyeah · 23/11/2020 06:40

Cream blushed is gorgeous

fiorentina · 23/11/2020 07:07

Yes, I’ve never had a product from there that isn’t good. In non Covid times they do free make up lessons to try products which are also good.

anotherBadAvatar · 23/11/2020 07:15

Love it. Anyone know a good alternative now they’ve stopped the BB cream though?

BootCampSucker · 23/11/2020 07:20

Trinny London BFF Destress (after extensive searching!).
GCAcademic · 23/11/2020 07:23

Yes, I use the face base, skin longwear weightless foundation, cream blush and eye shadow sticks. All great, and the foundation is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t oxidise within minutes of touching my face. It all stays put all day as well.

BillyAndTheSillies · 23/11/2020 07:23

Stopped the BB Cream?!? NOOOOOO!!

My skin is yellow toned and Bobbi Brown is the only brand I've ever used which has been a perfect match for my skin. Fenty does a good match but their foundation oxidises like crazy.

professionalnomad · 23/11/2020 16:00

I like the face stuff (concealer, foundation etc) but the eye makeup isn't pigmented enough for deeper skin tones

Crappyfridays7 · 23/11/2020 16:19

I’ve got the trinny London de stress and it’s lovely smells great and makes my skin look lovely. Didn’t use the bb cream however.

Use loads of bb though gel eye Liner, eye shadow lux eye shadow, mascara, primer bronzers & brushes and am sure they’ve got 20% off just now. I really like them and I haven’t heard anyone saying negative about anything although I’m intrigued at this prism powder, need to look 👀

mrssmiling · 23/11/2020 17:48

Bought some last Christmas - expensive but worth it. Good quality and great colours.

Thankssomuch · 23/11/2020 19:38

The gel eyeliner is superb and actually stays put.

IsabellaMozzarella · 23/11/2020 19:57

Yes it's good. I've used the mascara, eye shadow and the gel eyeliner is the best

Dinnertime22 · 23/11/2020 20:13

The blusher is excellent. Love the primer too. It is expensive, but long lasting. I was not convinced with the eyeshadows to be fair.

peaceanddove · 23/11/2020 20:18

Most definitely. My make up bag is 75% Bobbi Brown x

CommanderBurnham · 23/11/2020 20:34

It's good stuff. Especially the colour corrector

Cecilia2016 · 23/11/2020 20:44

I love Bobbi Brown products. I use
Face cream base
Long wear eye shadow
Face powder
Eye cream
The night oil is good

Tinks15 · 23/11/2020 22:25

Great thanks everyone - I’m going to have a browse online. I like the look of the corrector, my circles are terrible at the moment.

I use Bobby Brown blusher and eyeshadow most days, it's a real keeper, good colours, good staying power, and they don't irritate my (horribly) sensitive skin.

tofuschnitzel · 24/11/2020 10:17

I'd love to try their lipsticks, but I can't justify spending £25-30 on one lipstick. Let us know how you get on if you do purchase anything, OP! I follow Hannah Martin (hannahmartinmakeup) on Instagram, she used to work as a makeup artist for Bobbi Brown, she uses a lot of their products. You may find her account helpful.

Sammysquiz · 24/11/2020 10:59

If you use the code VIP2020 today on the Bobbi Brown website you get 25% off and some free samples.

Percypigmystery · 24/11/2020 16:51

And if you spend £85 (😵) you get a free eye shadow palette too....

Searchesforhipbones · 24/11/2020 17:17

Hmm, I used to love it SO much but now I’ve really gone off it. Maybe because I watched her MasterClass and thought she was so proscriptive - you can’t do this, you shouldn’t do that, xyz never looks good. Also, she kept using models who were different ages and ethnicity but all staggeringly gorgeous and being a bit ‘YOU SEE? Mary just needed a dab of concealer and some eyebrow powder and she looks radiant’*

I mean if you think women should not wear foundation why do you sell a ton of it then?

Must get over my irritation and go and have a browse.

*can confirm concealer/eyebrow combo is my school run look and obvs am EQUALLY RADIANT.

Inkpaperstars · 24/11/2020 17:22

I haven't tried much but I really like the smoky eye mascara

Mumtumwobble · 24/11/2020 21:46

I love Bobbi Brown, it’s my favourite brand. They don’t do loads of crazy high fashion type colours etc, but they do have lots of lovely wearable everyday shades. It’s grown-up make up. I’ve got lots from them and wear it all regularly.
