I’m looking for a perfume that I’m struggling to describe! It’s a very soft, floral, feminine, baby powdery, almondy scent. Can anyone help!?

Dior hypnotic poison

Lovelydovey · 22/11/2020 17:28

Prada Infusions d’iris

Marcipex · 22/11/2020 17:30

Sounds lovely.

TheSilentStars · 22/11/2020 17:34

Prada Infusions d'Amande
L'Occitane do an Almond one
Acqua di Parma do one called Mandorlo di Sicilia.
If you want talcy baby scent you're better with anything with Iris, like the Prada mentioned above. It's my go to soapy comfort scent.

ivegotthisyeah · 22/11/2020 17:43

This one springs to mind for the talc baby powder scent it's beautiful

Noa is quite talcy too.

teta · 22/11/2020 17:49

Sounds like Guerlain Champs Elysees . It's a beautiful powdery floral with almond.

Prettybubblesintheair · 22/11/2020 18:13

Thank you so much everyone. I don’t think it was hypnotic, that’s one of my favourite perfumes and it was a bit lighter than that. Will start ordering some samples! X

L'Eau d'Hiver by Frederic Malle? It's quite pricey though.

Hopeitsallok · 22/11/2020 20:46

Is it Narciso Rodriguez?

Prettybubblesintheair · 22/11/2020 23:12

@Burpeesshmurpees

You've literally just described my ideal perfume. I'd agree l'eau d'hiver is great but for a cheap as chips gorgeous powder almond Lt piver heliotrope blanc. Honestly it's amazing, especially for the price
Could you post a link to that one please?

Prada Infusions d'Iris
Or one of the Guerlain Exclusivs and I'm drawing a blank - Angelique something?

Try Elizabeth Arden’s True Love. Cheap as chips now and very soft and pretty.

Prettybubblesintheair · 23/11/2020 15:18

Thank you will have a look at that one too.

I seem to remember Rive Gauche is talc-y - not sure about almondy though.
