Very specific skirt requirements for elderly mother - HELP!

My mum wants a skirt for Christmas. She's size 6, it has to have an elasticated waist (at least in part) and have pockets. She's 5ft tall and is looking for knee length. Oh and be 'summer' colours. Any suggestions, please?!

Ask a friend who is handy with a sewing machine to make one.

For money, obviously.

Through Next clearance .. not sure if these have elasticated backs but lots of those skirts do .
Also I'm 5 ft and these would be knee length on me .

Not sure of waist measurement, only that she needs size 6. Budget - happy to pay £100 or so for the right thing!

Have you tried looking at children's skirts? My SIL is a size 6 and about your Mum's height and often finds that teen clothes (or even age 12) fit her well. They also tend to have prettier colours, but not always elasticated waists.

Not necessarily a go to store for elderly ladies but how about something like this pleated skirt, with elasticated waist in some summery colours?

My mum is also a size 6 and petite and finds bits in M&S children’s range that fit her.
Or maybe search on John Lewis by size and filter out some options?
