Good quality harem pants / joggers for plus size?

I'm on the hunt for joggers or harem pants, preferably navy, which are good quality and dont show my knickers / vpl!

I am a tall apple shape, size 18/20.

Has anyone seen anything? I could probably get away with a 16, but I prefer to wear things oversize.

Bump! Sorry, I have zero patience. Apparently comfortable trousers just can't wait Wink.

I would be interested in these too. I can never find a pair of harem trousers that are long enough!

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 12:54

Same who! Asos do some, and they have a good selection of Tall pieces, but it's the quality I don't always think much of there.

I am a 16 and I have got Hush Aimee joggers. They are pretty roomy

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 13:03

Thanks hopping! I'll take a look.

I second the Hush Aimee Joggers. I'm a size 18/20 and the size 16 fit fine, happy to wear in public not just slouching around the house.

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 13:32

Ooooh thanks! I've just been looking at the Hush site and think those would do well!

I really like the look of the Theia ones on there...wondering if they might do any Black friday deals! One of my all time favourite tshirts is from Hush. Hope they have a sale.

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 16:04

Ah bollocks - just read on another thread that they aren't doing a sale for Black Friday as it is against their principles...

I've ordered some Lindsay joggers to try on. Will report back for anyone interested!

Yes, they don’t do many sales and there aren’t discounts codes but I still buy far too much from there.
Everyone raves about Hush Harems but I looked awful in them, Aime joggers much better.
Hope the Lindsay joggers are ok for you

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 16:27

I like the Amie ones too, but went with the Lindsay ones A) because loads of the Amie ones are out of stock and B) because the Lindsay ones are supposed to be quite warm? I'm wanting to wear them out occasionally as well as indoors, so would need them to be cosy.

The asos curve ultimate peg trousers are nice. Theyre a Jersey material and have pockets.

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 16:35

Thanks umbridge. It's really useful to get recommendations on Asos stuff, as I do find the quality a bit hit and miss. Will check those out!

Try Next Tall, ASOS Tall, Long Tall Sally or Ooh Betty (who has just launched some bottoms or trousers, see sizes below she can do inside leg 28 to 36, but if you want say 35 just message her).

Might also be worth joining a tall facebook group such as ‘what’s the alTallnative to LTS?’

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 16:47

Thanks gooseberry, v helpful!

I’d suggest looking at yogaleggs - im a 16 and their M is ok and L roomy for me.

jenniuol · 20/11/2020 16:51

I’m sure the hush ones will fit you, I was coming on to recommend them. I have the Amie, they’re great. I’m a size 12, very hippy. I have 2 pairs of amie’s, one in size 6 and one size 8! Both fit with room to spare.

GooseberryTart · 20/11/2020 16:58

If you are a size 18-20 don’t the Hush ones only go up to a size 16?

Also if your tall the inside leg doesn’t seem very long at 71.5cm or 28 inches unless you are wanting the length to be three quarter length or certainly not full length on someone tall?

Good quality harem pants / joggers for plus size?
TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 17:01

They do goose, but I reckon I can get away with the 16, as their sizing is quite large. Will see.

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 17:04

Will also check out yogaleggs.

OP posts:
GooseberryTart · 20/11/2020 17:09

Yes if your tall surely the inside leg would be too short though unless you are tall with a long body and exceptionally short legs.

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 17:12

No, I am quite leggy really.... will see how these work out. Reviews do say they're long though and they are supposed to be ankle grazed sort of length. There's a photo with a model in the Ecru colour with them rolled up. And models are usually tall, so think I can make it work. But I will definitely report back when they arrive.

Asos hasn't got much in stock in my size annoyingly.

HeyMicky · 20/11/2020 17:15

Thought clothing are quite long

KTD27 · 20/11/2020 17:18

Make sure you look at John Lewis for hush stuff as sometimes it’s on offer through them.
