Gel nail help!

I bought the kiss gel nail kit from Superdrug this week. I've opened the gel to find it's stringy and semi set Superdrug want me to return to store however I'm working a lot over the next week or so.

Is there a way to save the gel or restore it?

Have you tried warming it up a little? Maybe stand it in some hot (not boiling!!) water for 39 seconds. Mine is definitely more pliable when warm.
