I bought this as I knew the Irish closure of hair salons would be long.
Just a warning re colour - I got the dark blonde one. On my white (Sad rather than grey ) temples it came up definitely a mid to dark brown.

What are your experiences ?

I’m never without this spray, although it can be too matt and obvious if you go in heavy handed. I can’t find anything better.

I use Dark Blonde as I have mid brown hair. I think it’s the same situation with hair dyes - they are always darker than you expect or the name suggests.

yes, im on my third bottle. didnt like it at first but played around with shades and its better for me now. i was a shade lighter than i thought i'd be!

go light and build up.

push it into your hair roots with something like a clean mascara wand (if you have an old mascara to wash the brush, that sort of thing).

put a damp facecloth at your hair line so it doesnt leave droplets on your skin or light tones clothes.

its good for a short term fix once you find what works for you

Another tip is to spay it in while hair is damp.

I prefer the Josh Wood one as it's like spraying hairspray so I find it less messy

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 19/11/2020 18:28

I use the dark blonde and find it really good on my grey roots.

I got the same one as you - complete waste of money! It’s very dark IME

I have the Magic retouch mascara like stuff. Very good for white greying temples.
I don't like the wand that comes with it so used a mascara brush ( a free Dior one given to try the newest Dior mascara, when one could try things- pre Covid19 ).
It was a gamechanger.
Soooo much better than the wand that comes with the Magic Retouch.
L'oreal might have a rethink.
