Hair, will it lighten with this?

So my hair is highlighted (from dark brown) at the moment. It’s like a caramelly/dull blondey warm, slightly yellowy colour, it’s like the in between stage you can imagine when going from dark to light!

It’s just meh. I could have more highlights, but not for a while. I thought about putting this on, would it lighten my hair up to a brighter/lighter more clean blonde?

Any of your dark hair may end up orangey as it won't lighten properly to blonde.

You could try purple shampoo to take yellow tones away from the highlights

These a real risk you'd end up with a head full of orange straw.

If your roots are dark, then no.
I'd wait until you can get booked back into a salon.
It never normally ends well when people try to lighten their hair at home.

Well I don’t fancy a head full of orange straw lol so it’s probably best to wait until I can have some more highlights done. I’ve tried a couple of purple shampoos, the Tresemme one, not brilliant & the Fudge one, which is quite good at toning but not amazing results but I guess that’s because my hair isn’t actually light enough. My roots are like a light auburn brown, if I had of gone for the blonde box dye I wouldn’t of touched them as I know i would've ended up with fluorescent roots!
