Uniqlo packable down gilet or other?

Looking for a layer to go under my coat to keep me a bit warmer as it’s getting more into winter. And maybe for WFH.

Are the lightweight down gilets from Uniqlo any good?
What’s the sizing like?

Yes they are brilliant! I wear mine all the time as an extra layer under various coats. I have a black one. I'm a size 8/10 on top and the women's small is fairly fitted over a thin jumper.

I like them but I’m not a ‘cold ‘ person . The level of warmth is just right for me . I’m 34G on top and wear Large .

I love them, I find they come up quite small. I’m a size 10 and need a medium otherwise it’s too tight over a jumper. They are so lightweight that the m still fits under a coat without being bulky.

I think I’ve bought one for my whole family at some point, they are great.
I have always found the size calculator on the Uniqlo website to be very good.

As previous posters say, they are sized quite small and you have to consider that you may want to wear it as an additional layer over something bulky, ie not just as an inner lining to winter coats, so you should factor that in. I’m size 10 and wear size medium for comfort as the small is a snug fit.

Uniqlo is a goo budget buy.

If you can stretch the budget, tog 24 used to do one that was better quality, warmer and far more wind resistant. Also it folds into its own pocket which sounds unimportant but is actually invaluable after you've lost the Uniqlo bags a few dozen times.

I found them too small. I am a 36dd and a size 14 and needed an XL in basically everything in Uniqlo.
