Help me please!

Post pregnancy and struggling to get back into my pre pregnancy clothes so am relenting and accepting I need to buy some new clothes! I'm late 30s

I would like to get enough pieces to make a nice wardrobe. I do like loungewear but not the velour yummy mummy type bits!

I need some pieces to walk the dog, get out and about with the baby and for when I go back to work. But my job is casual wear so can use what I buy for the above bits.

I like jeans, collared tops, jumpsuits in the summer, boots, structured leggings and tops.

I'm quite tall so hate the larger range in Oasis as it's all quite short in the body.

I bought some bits from Boden in the summer but I've found their winter bits too fitted. I also have a wonderful Seasalt coat but the clothes are all a bit 'old' for my style!

Can anyone recommend places to shop online and or any pieces for me 😬

Have a look at Mango Violeta online and the outlet online too. (their curve range). I think a Large equates to an 18 but even try the Medium (16) as the cuts are to skim so quite generous.

Thanks so much @Bejazzled

I'd never heard of them but have just had a look and there are absolutely some bits I'm interested in.

I go between size 16 and 18, and I know it's not high-end, but Sainsbury's "TU" is one of the best brands for my body shape. Their jeans in particular are nicely cut, quite generously sized and very comfortable. They usually have a few nice designs of tops at any time and I also found a gorgeous flower patterned trench in there once.

I also buy from Tu for basics, the quality and fit is good for the price. Other places I buy from are Fat Face for casual, Wallis for jeans and formal, Mantaray at Debenhams, Yumi Curve and Mint Velvet.

Also Joe Brown's for summer dresses.

Check out Monki. I love them and always feel good wearing their fun prints in easy to wear styles. Very good quality for the prices you pay.

Agree with Debenhams (even though the Westfield White City one is closed now). Also like TU, Asos Curve (though most clothes insist on showing your thighs, stomach and boobs. Simply Be, Evans and surprisingly M&S.

Deathraystare · 17/11/2020 15:43

Oh! and got a few nice dresses from Boohoo Plus (via ASOS)

I'm a size 18 and 5ft 7. I buy a lot from Yours Clothing and ASOS curve range.
