Leather Look Leggings?

I’m torn between the Mint Velvet or Calzedonia ones. I’ve seen both recommended on here. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The calzedonia ones are shit. I made the mistake of ordering them based on what was said on here. They aren’t even worth a fiver from a market stall.

The Spanx ones are a whole different animal. I’ve three pairs.

I can’t comment on the Mint velvet ones. But avoid calzedonia like the plague.

I really don’t see how. I returned mine, they are thin and crap.

@Bluntness100 how odd. Mine are really thick and sturdy, don’t crumple, don’t bunch up and hold my bum in like leggings never have before.

What is the sizing like for Spanx?

Mint velvet ones are great. Only thing I’ve ever bought from mint velvet but I love them.

I have the Mint Velvet ones... they are quite thin abs you can see knicker lines very easily. Also not very warm.
I never really wear mine now, I got the Hush coated jeans instead which IMO look much better, thicker, warmer and more flattering.
I think the Spanx ones look good from what I've seen but don't have them myself.

I’m a ten to twelve and bought the medium in Spanx. Which I think is supposed to be a twelve to fourteen but I’d not have wished smaller, they fit perfect.

I have leggings from both - like @Sophoa my Calzedonia thermal ones are really thick, warm and hold everything in, great leggings. I'm generally a size 6-8 and am an XS in these.

Mint Velvet - recently got the black animal print leggings and had to get the S as the XS barely got over my knees. The fabric wasn't as stretchy as you'd normally expect and are very thin - can't comment on the other ones in the range. Great that you can get them in different lengths though...

Haven't tried Spanx but do have some good ones from ASOS.

Can I just ask, what are you all wearing on your feet with the leather look leggings?

Also, what are you wearing on your top too?

Trainers or DM's on my feet and on top I tend to wear oversized chunky knits or a long line blouse and cardigan.

I just got some from M&S and theyre really good. I got the khaki as the black were OOS but I will definitely get the black now I can see they're back!

I tend to wear white trainers or biker boots with mine and a longer jumper on top.

I have the Mint Velvet ones; am pretty pleased with them for the price. They’re not particularly thick and although not see through I wouldn’t wear them without a jumper covering my bum as knicker line does show. I’m a size 8 and got the XS - was a bit worried as they looked tiny when they arrived but they stretch loads and I actually find them a bit on the large side.

I normally wear mine with knee high wedge boots or ankle boots with a wedge heel
